FRPG 2012 College Scholarships

FRPG and GEORGE FRANKLIN INSURANCE are pleased to announce that they will award 4 scholarships to employees, children or grand children of employees of FRPG members. The scholarships will be awarded at the annual FRPG holiday banquet. To be elgible for the award, the employee, parents or grandparents must be an active employee of a FRPG member restaurant as of 12/31/12.

It is also required that they attend the banquet to receive the award. The cost of the dinner for the recipient and 1 guest will be paid for by FRPG.

All documentation and applications must be submitted together.

The qualifications for each award are as follows;

1st year college student - must have graduated with a minimum 2.5 GPA and contributed a minimum of 20 hours of community service in addition to the above requirements.

2nd year college student - must have a minimum 2.75 GPA from prior year and contributed a minimum of 40 hours of community service in addition to the above requirements.

3rd year college student - must have a minimum 2.75 GPA, 50 hours of internship at FRPG and a major in marketing, business, or hospitality management.

4th year college student - must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, 50 hours of internship at FRPG and a major in marketing, business or hospitality management.

More detailed information will be mailed to FRPG member restaurants in March of 2012.
